question about a gw feature - Guild Wars Forums

Ok I've noticed some players when they dance or whatever they have some sort of color and/or light effect coming from they're hands (i saw a warrior with fire from his hands, a necro with green acid-like stuff falling from her hands, and a monk with blue light coming out of her hands)

was wondering what is this and how can i get this feature?

From the link provided above:
"The Divine Aura is attached to the Collector's Edition CD-key. It may NOT be transferred to other accounts and adding a collectors edition key to a normal account will not give you any additional slots, nor will you be given back your original key (so doing so will effectively mean that you lose the 4 slots normally associated with the key.) "

When I clicked the "Collector's Edition" text:
"Collector's Edition Keys can also be added to standard accounts to add Divine Aura to it. Once added to an account, all existing characters (as well as any characters created in the future) will all have the Divine Aura."

Which one is right????

they way i read it is...

you add the collectors key to your account and they only thing you get extra is the aura. So the characterslots associated with the collectors key will not have any effect.

Makes sense?

Yeah, I had a normal account and then got the collector edition for prophecies and added the key to my original account and I got Devine Aura.

Thats the only thing you get, you wont get any extra character slots.

Um...

Does anyone know where I can find a copy other than ebay? They are selling for like $187 and I know they are rare cuz it was a limited time but anyone know any other places I could look to buy one?

There isn't really any other place. I've heard reports from people that live in the middle of nowhere that their local retailers still have some instock for $70, but if you can't find any around you ebay is pretty much all there is.

(keep in mind the Special Edition and Collector's Edition aren't the same thing)

I really wanna add that Divine Aura feature to my account! I didn't know about it when guild wars first came out.
